THREE women on Saturday abducted a 24-year-old Chinhoyi man at gunpoint and forced him to be intimate with two of them at a secluded spot on the town’s outskirts.

The women tied the used condoms after the assault and went away with them.

This is the third such report to police in three months and the sixth this year in a string of sexual assaults whose motive is yet to be established.

Mashonaland West police spokesperson Inspector Clemence Mabgweazara said the women were driving a white Mitsu-bishi Chariot near the Coldstream turn-off and stopped to ask the man for directions to Muzimba Shopping Centre.

The man was walking home from the town’s main bus terminus.

"He gave them the directions and they pretended not to understand. They asked him to get into the car and accompany them to the shopping centre, but he refused.

"At that point, one of them pulled out a pistol and pointed it at him. They ordered him into the vehicle and he complied," said Insp Mabgweazara.

They blindfolded him with a black cloth and drove for several kilometres before parking in a bush.

The blindfold was removed and he was given condoms to wear.

"They then ordered him to be intimate with them," Insp Mabgweazara said.

After being intimate with the first one, he was given a container with a liquid that the women said would re-energise him.

A police source said: "One of the women tied the open end of the condom and placed it in the car. After that he was assaulted again and the condom was again retained.

"When they were done, they blindfolded him and drove back to the town.

"He was dumped near the entrance to Chinhoyi University of Technology," the source said.

Recently two women forced a 44-year-old man to be intimate with them while another man stood guard after giving him a lift to Karoi from Westgate in Harare.

They were also armed.

A month ago, a Mwenezi man was drugged and forced to be intimate with two women who had offered him a lift along the Masvingo-Ngundu Road.

Before that, four women forced themselves on a 25-year-old Masvingo man at gunpoint after forcing him to drink an unknown concoction that afterwards made him pass out for eight hours.

Meanwhile, A 22-year-old Harare man who allegedly raped his three-year-old niece last month on Monday appeared before a magistrate to answer to the charges.

Regional magistrate Mr Rogers Kacha-mbwa remanded him in custody to September 10. He was advised him to apply for bail at the High Court.

It is alleged that in June this year, the minor was left in his custody while the mother went to visit her relatives.

Prosecutor Mrs Valerie Ngoma told the court that the accused allegedly raped the girl while the mother was away.

Later on, the mother noticed that her daughter appeared uncomfortable and in pain, it is alleged.

The girl's grandmother took her to Chitungwiza Hospital, where a doctor’s examination concluded that she had been raped, the court was told.

The matter was reported to the police leading to the man’s arrest.
