GWERU,  A Gweru based white commercial farmer Brian Sydney Hein has been arrested for allegedly raping and impregnating a juvenile who is also one of his female employees.

Hein will face charges of raping the 15-year- old whose name was not mentioned to protect her identity.The farmer who resides at Beby farm, about 15 km outside Gweru was dragged to court on Thursday before Magistrate, Jeslene Mashiri facing rape charges.
According to the state outline led by prosecutor Yeukai Mugumba the white commercial farmer had sexual intercourse with the minor on two occasions without her consent in March.

The dates are not mentioned in the state outline.The state says the juvenile did not report the matter to police as she had been threatened with immediate dismissal by Hein.The state prosecutor said the juvenile only revealed the pregnancy to her parents after she suspected that she was pregnant.
The matter was reported to the police leading to Hein’s arrest.The white commercial farmer, who denies the rape charges, was remanded to 29 June on US$100 bail by the Gweru magistrate, Mashiri.As part of his bail conditions, Hain was ordered to report once every fortnight on Fridays at Gweru Police Station and not to interfere with state witnesses.
