By SAPA   Wed, May 25, 2011

Angry pupils have torched their school in Mariannhill, near Pinetown in South Africa, because of a lack of teaching materials.
ISizinda Secondary School pupils burnt down three classrooms on Tuesday after complaining that the principal was failing to provide them with necessary school material, such as furniture, Isolezwe newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The paper reported that pupils boycotted classes two weeks ago because of a similar complaint.
It was believed the pupils set refuse bins alight and threw them inside the classrooms.
