Harare - Zimbabwe's civil servants were due to get half a day off to attend a football friendly set for later Wednesday against Brazil, the Public Service Commission announced.

The commission said it would release its fleet of buses to ferry civil servants to and front the game at Harare's 60,000-seat National Sports Stadium.

Zimbabweans are excited to be hosting the five-time world champions for one of two friendlies in Africa before the World Cup starts in South Africa next week.

Hundreds of fans of the Samba Boys turned out to greet the Brazilian team at Harare international airport on Tuesday night.
