Seven SA nationals arrested for stoning to death a Zim man
By SAPA Thu, Jun 30, 2011
Johannesburg - Police have arrested seven people for their alleged involvement in the stoning to death of a Zimbabwean man in Seshego, Limpopo.
Wednesday night's arrests came after an ANC councillor appeared in court with 11 other people for the same crime, Brigadier Hangwane Mulaudzi said on Thursday.
All 19 were facing charges of incitement, public violence, malicious damage to property, arson and murder.
The seven would appear in the Seshego Magistrate's Court on Friday.
The ANC councillor and 11 others were out on bail and were expected back in court on August 16.
Godfrey Sibanda was stoned to death during an attack on foreign nationals two weeks ago.
