Louis Walsh is being accused of allegedly indecently assaulting a young father in a bar toilet.

A 24-year-old man is said to have claimed the X Factor judge groped him in the toilet of Dublin's Krystle nightclub.

However, Walsh has angrily denied the claims, telling The Sun: 'The allegations made against me are wholly false and with no foundation. 

'I will happily co-operate fully with the police and am 100 per cent confident that after a full investigation I will be fully exonerated.'

The man who is accusing him has apparently told police he was assaulted by Walsh in the early hours of the morning of April 10, after the pair had socialised at Dublin's Russell Court Hotel.

The man, who last night refused to comment, apparently told police he had spent time with Walsh in the hotel's Globe Bar and then in the adjoining Krystle nightclub where he claims he was assaulted in the toilet.

Police are now said to be looking at CCTV footage of the nightspot in an attempt to discover actually what happened.

A police source told the newspaper: 'An investigation is ongoing.'

It is believed Walsh will be contacted by police if they believe there is a case.

A spokesperson for the TV personality said: 'He vigorously denied all of the allegations. 

'If contacted by the police he will willingly co-operate with any investigation. Louis categorically denies any wrongdoing and will fight to clear his name.'

Walsh has been attending X Factor auditions in recent weeks with new panel members Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland.
