City striker Benjani - report
Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly battling each other for the signature of ex-Manchester City forward Benjani.
Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly battling each other for the signature of ex-Manchester City forward Benjani.
The Zimbabwe international joined the Citizens in 2008, but after failing to make a significant impact at the Eastlands club he was packed off on loan to Sunderland.
However, the temporary switch to Wearside proved to be underwhelming, as the forward failed to score a single goal in the Premier League during his time at the Stadium of Light.
On his return to City, the 31-year-old was released as a free agent, and he is now free to talk to any club he chooses.
Now The Mirror reports that Blackburn, West Ham and Wolves are competing with each other for the striker's signature.
All three clubs are in the hunt for a forward to bolster their respective attacks.
