West Ham United Target Manchester City Striker Benjani - Report

West Ham United are in the hunt for five strikers this transfer window, one of whom is Manchester City's Benjani, according to Sky Sports.

The Zimbabwean is out of contract in the summer, and the Hammers are said to be looking at a loan deal with a view to a permanent move.

According to the report, nothing will be concluded until after City's semi-final second leg tie against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

The Hammers are also reportedly weighing up a move for unsettled Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy.
