John Moxton to return to Zimbabwe
JOHANNESBURG: The specified Kingdom Meikles Africa shareholder has said he will be going to Zimbabwe soon after being invited by the Minister of Home Affairs.
JOHANNESBURG: The specified Kingdom Meikles Africa shareholder has said he will be going to Zimbabwe soon after being invited by the Minister of Home Affairs.
John Moxon fled the country in 2008 after being harassed by the Zanu P.F government. Mr. Moxo told the Zimbabwean that he will take the offer by the Home Affairs ministry that he will not be detained when he returns to Zimbabwe. “Yes I will be returning to Zimbabwe. There is a big investment on the cards for Meikles. It will be robust”. The former chairman of Kingdom Meikles Africa was invited on Saturday by Kembno Mohadi is Johannesburg. Mr Mohadi said, “Moxon what are doing here in South Africa. Come home nobody’ gonna lock you up. Come let us talk” In an interview with Moneyweb.com in 2009 Mr. Moxon said his problem started when as a family they tried to remove the Chief Executive Officer whom they saw was pursuing his own agendas. John Moxon also stated that his company was worthy US500m at the time of merger with Kingdom Holdings Kembo Mohadi also invited Mutumwa Mawere of Shabani Mashaba mines, William Nyemba of Trust Bank and James Makamba who were also present
