Mugabe  is now shadow of the president who used to deliver thought - provoking speeches and would transcend all corners of the country with such enthusiasm and energy even his bodyguards  struggled to keep up with his energetic and quick movements. Nowadays his speeches are fueled with hatred ,anger and do not inspire  even the hardcore of the ZANU PF supporters. The discussion today should not be whether the new constitution should be viewed as a way of prolonging his rule but whether he is as of today a safe pair of hands , legs and of  sound mind to deliver his presidential duties nad responsibilities effectively.
