Harare — THE wife of Chief Justice Godfrey Chidyausiku, Mrs Sheila Chidyausiku, who died on Saturday was buried yesterday morning at Chishawasha Mission Cemetery.
Mrs Chidyausiku (61), the first black qualified physiotherapist, died at the Avenues Clinic in Harare from diabetes-related complications. In his eulogy, principal director in the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare Mr Chris Tapfumanei described Mrs Chidyausiku as a hardworking professional who always had the people at heart.
Mr Tapfumanei said Mrs Chidyausiku joined the Ministry as a rehabilitation and occupational therapy officer in 1981 and she wholeheartedly served the nation until her death.
