Roman Catholic priest charged for possessing pornographic material in Zimbabwe

A Roman Catholic Church priest in Lupane who was arrested on Wednesday on allegations of holding a national healing mass for victims and survivors of the Gukurahundi massacres at his parish, has also been charged for possessing pornographic material.

Father Marko Mabutho Mnkandla is expected to appear at Lupane Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

The mass was also attended by Moses Mzila-Ndlovu, the co-Minister in the Organ of National Healing and Reconciliation who was ambush by the Lupane police on his way to Victoria Falls and was arrested in connection with the matter.
